TERMS & CONDITIONS OF TRADE

 

Silverstream Swim Academy provides a comprehensive water safety and learn to swim programme. Lessons are run during term time and are priced according to the duration of each term.

Prior notification of any price changes will be given before they take effect.

FEES AND NOTICE OF WITHDRAWAL

Fees for the Term bookings and Holiday swim programmes must be paid in full upon making your booking. They can be paid online, by cash or internet banking.

BOOKING CONFIRMATION

Once you have received your booking confirmation we expect payment in full to secure your place for that term. All bookings are automatically rolled over to the next term unless you advise us otherwise.

PARENTAL SUPERVISION

Safety of children/swimmers at the Silverstream Swim Academy is our concern. To reduce the risk of accidents, safety measures are in place at our facility. However, it is the parent’s or caregiver’s responsibility to ensure your children’s safety at all times while on the Silverstream Swim Academy premises. We are not set up to be an “after school care” facility. We expect a parent or caregiver to be at the pool during lessons.

MISSED LESSONS / AWAY FOR HOLIDAYS

Lessons will not be re-allocated if there is failure to attend or a late arrival to a lesson. We would like you to notify the Silverstream Swim Academy through the customer portal prior to lessons if a child is ill or cannot attend. Subject to availability Silverstream Swim Academy can offer two make up lessons per participant per term (not transferable from term to term or other students) for unforeseeable reasons such as injuries/ illness.

We offer this Make Up Lesson as an act of good will and customer service and is only subject to availability. Refunds or credits are not provided.

If we have to cancel a class due to unforeseen circumstances, the class will be re-scheduled or you may receive a make-up class if you are unable to attend the re-scheduled time. No refunds will be given.

PRIVACY POLICY

Silverstream Swim Academy reserves the right to collect personal information from you for the purposes of enrolment. This information will be used to assist us in providing swim school services and for any other purpose you may authorise. Silverstream Swim Academy undertakes to maintain your privacy in accordance with the Privacy Act 1993 and any subsequent amendments or variations thereof.

No photo’s or video’s of your child will be used on social media unless you have been asked for permission. Please ask the instructor for permission if you wish to video or take a photo of your child. Make sure only your child features in the photo or video.

CCTV camera's are in operation at all times.
